Outboard
Breckenridge, CO | March 30 – April 4, 2010
The most laid-back of the bunch, Outboard focuses on snowboarders – although skiers are certainly welcome. This year’s host mountain is Breckenridge, a springtime skiing paradise that promises abundant sunshine and soft snow at the tail end of the North American ski season.
BARGAIN ALERT: Outboard’s events are unquestionably the most affordable of the lot, with cover prices for its fun-filled parties hovering in the $30 range. One grand exception is the Outboard Extravaganza closing night festivities, a drag-queen show and dance party that promises to be the “extra-largest Outboard event in history.”
Outboard 2010 In The News - Metroweekly.com
Outboard 2010 was in the news again in a recent edition of metro weekly covering this year's gay and lesbian ski and snowboard events.
From the article...
Skis aren't the only equipment that draw people to the slopes. OutBoard Gay and Lesbian Snowboard Week (March 30-April 4, 2010) in Breckenridge, Colo., was originally founded in 1995 by a small group of gay snowboarding enthusiasts seeking to attract more members of the community to the sport. Fifteen years and hundreds of attendees later, it has grown to attract beginners and advanced snowboarders as well as skiers. Much like its ski-oriented counterparts (which do include snowboarders as well), OutBoard now encompasses many affiliated parties and special events and expects hundreds of snowboarders to attend.

Outboard 2010 In The News - Dallas Voice
Outboard 2010 was mentioned in a recent issue of dallasvoice.com covering this year's gay ski and snowboard events.
Have you made your reservation for the year's must attend gay snowboard event?
From the article:
Dallas got its first taste of snow this week, but for ski resort communities around the country (and internationally), the powder has been piling up for weeks. Indeed, from early January until April, hardly a week will go by between when you can’t find a colder clime targeting gay skiers, snowboarders or just altitude junkies..........
OutBoard: Gay and Lesbian Snowboard Week, Breckenridge, Colo. March 30–April 4. The season ends, as always, with the snowboarders of OutBoard. And once again, the event has migrated to a new Colorado locale (Breckenridge, following Crested Butte and Steamboat Springs the last two years) and a new “official” name. Dude! Dude. OutBoard.org
